Spiritualism teaches that life is indestructible.

It does not require you to hope for a life everlasting; it does not expect you to have faith.

It asks only that you will prove for yourself that life is continuous and that the love of those who have gone before is forever with us, to guide, to comfort, to strengthen and lead us on our very short journey through this life to our true home, where we shall be greeted by our loved ones who have prepared a place for us.

Spiritualism is a RECOGNISED RELIGION

Many of those who attend these services and who are not Spiritualists are amazed at the beauty and dignity of them, when, to be honest, some feared a bit of mumbo -jumbo.

The Spiritualist believes, that our loved ones are very much the same after leaving this earth as they were before, Although without the physical deformities, illnesses, or weariness that they had when on earth.  

We endeavour to invite top Spiritualist Mediums and full registered Healers to serve our Churches including those who work in newspapers; TV and radio and prove evidence of survival after death.

 BATHGATE CHRISTIAN SPIRITUALIST CHURCH has two properly ordained & FULLY QUALIFIED Ministers, the REV Brian Pitt & REV Mhairi Derby-Pitt, who having studied through the same academic route as many other Christian Church Ministers, have exactly the same status as all other Ministers of Religion (See 'Marriage (Scotland) Act 1977 & 2002).

Our Minister's are available 24/7 to visit hospitals, advise persons of all denominations who are in need of spiritual comfort, guidance or healing and officiate at all types of Marriages, funeral's, Christenings etc throughout the Country.

Spiritualism is the Science, Philosophy and Religion of continuous life, based upon the demonstrated fact of communication, by means of mediumship, with those who live in the Spirit World.

A Spiritualist is one who believes, as the basis of his or her religion, in the communication between this and the spirit world by means of mediumship, and who endeavors to mold his or her character and conduct in accordance with the highest teachings derived from such communion.

A Medium is one whose organism is sensitive to vibrations from the spirit world and through whose instrumentality intelligence's in that worlds are able to convey messages and produce the phenomena of Spiritualism.

A Spiritualist Healer is one who, either through own inherent powers or through his mediumship, is able to impart vital, curative force to pathologic conditions.
